Alert 24 Remote Monitoring
Alert 24 Remote Monitoring delivers effective monitoring of your critical system 24x7.
Implementation
ICM have designed their monitoring product to minimise implementation disruption to the client. Once preconfigured, an Alert24 device is placed on the customer's network to act as a collection point for all alerts and a concentrator for all traffic back to the ICM Monitoring Centre. On installation, the monitoring device creates a secure endpoint that generates a unique alphanumeric code which is encrypted to ensure secure connectivity is established. After consultation, an agreed list of monitors is established and applied to the monitoring station. If the customer then wishes to change any of these monitors, alter their thresholds, or introduce new monitors, change management enables these transitions to be made quickly, safely and effectively.
Network Security
ICM takes internal and external network security very seriously. All ICM remote monitoring and management products are designed to use secure platforms utilising encrypted connections to give the customer peace of mind. Consultants are available to discuss any aspects of security that may arise.
Reports
Reports are produced on a monthly basis for each customer, which details all alerts received in that time frame and how they were handled at every stage through to completion. They detail the nature of the problem, who raised the alert, at what time, and who dealt with the problem and how it was resolved. Reports can highlight areas that need upgrading if there are regular alerts, such as connectivity failures if they have a slow network link such as a dial-up modem. The report might also indicate that new hardware may be required for areas of high stress that are constantly failing due to workload.
